No, We can haul away all debris for you.
Do I need to wash the dust off the walls before painting?
No, A light sweep of the wall should remove the dust and a dry paint brush in the corners is sufficient the remaining dust will melt into the primer.
Are you licensed and insured?
We carry liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Does mold on drywall make you sick?
Yes, it does, especially if the humidity or leak is still happening, then mold will grow more rapidly causing allergic reactions and it can cause health issues for all those living in the home, especially for kids and older ones. It breaks down the immune system and can cause anyone exposed to it to feel constantly sick.
Do we need to repair drywall cracks soon?
Yes because they can get larger or if they continue you need to have your foundation repaired.
When is it ideal to paint?
All the time is ideal to paint. All seasons are different, hot, cold, and humid. Paint will drywall fast in hot weather and slow in cold or humid weather but the paint will adhere correctly to all surfaces.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash, Check, Credit Cards, and Online Payments such as Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, and Cash App.
Can you work with our insurance on a claim?
Yes, we work with insurance companies all the time for repairs caused by water, smoke, and fire.
Can you work with our budget?
It all depends on what repairs or projects need to be done. If it is a need we will work with our clients.
Do you recommend re-painting kitchen cabinets?
Yes, if you have stained or painted cabinets we can refinish them in any color to have an updated look and finish. It's less expensive to re-paint than to replace your cabinets too, including vanities.
Can the smoke or burn smell be removed?
Yes, there are different primers of oil and latex especially made to encapsulate the odor from smoke or burned surfaces. A light clean-up and a very heavy coat of specially formulated primer. Then 1 or 2 coats of paint in your preferred color in an oil base or latex.
Can you do the repairs on the weekend because that's when we are available?
I'm sorry but No, Our work schedule is Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Saturdays only if we need to finish the repairs we are already working on. Now you can request a weekend repair but there will be an added cost of 50% - 75% more.
Can my pets be there during repairs?
Yes but prefer to have them caged or in the backyard if we are working inside or vice versa.
Can we pay in payments for repairs or projects?
Yes and No. If there is a small repair that will be finished the same day you can pay half to schedule and start and the remaining amount on the day of completion. Or if there is a large amount to be paid we invoice you and you can pay us with a credit card and pay those off in payments as you wish.
Can our brick be painted?
Yes with 1 coat of mason primer and 1 coat of top coat paint in latex.
Can you work after hours to help us finish our project?
It all depends on what has to be done and what type of price we agree on before we start. Now if it's a sudden request that we never agreed to then we would price you for after-hours in writing and if you agree we would need the agreement in writing to continue also if my labor force is willing to, they also have families to tend to.
Will the paint odor linger for a lot of days?
Latex paint lingers a lot less than oil base paint, but both will eventually go away. Your day-to-day living and air conditioner working helps by removing the inside air and bringing in fresh air from outside will help.
Can you wait to be paid for repairs?
Repairs are to be paid once completed that same day unless your insurance company is paying then we would have to communicate directly with them before we start.
Can you repair plaster or stucco?
Yes, plaster is a lot like drywall mud or joint compound and will match plaster. Stucco can be repaired with the same techniques as drywall repairs but with a concrete surface finish.
